I don't like every policy, but I do like the energy, honesty and enthusiasm. And of course he's got certain media in a bit of a panic!

Just imagine the difference if @Keir_Starmer had lifted the 2 child cap on child benefit, found a better way to means test the WFA, not raised NI - but instead raised funds by taxing huge wealth and windfall taxes on corporations. Would we now be in a very different place?

So if Trump's plan is for him (and his rich cronies) to invest heavily when stocks are low, then reduce the tariffs and cash in when stocks bounce back - what's he going to do when the rest of the world has moved on and started to cut the US out of their investment and economic plans?

I've not seen any mainstream UK TV coverage of the thousands of 'Hands off" rallies in the US, where millions are protesting against Trump and Musk. Why not? Scared? @itvnews.bsky.social

Why are the media not reporting that the tariffs being imposed by the US are NOT based on the tariffs they are being charged by other countries at all, but on the trade deficits! Trump's "easy to understand" tariffs are not even understood by Trump or any of the media it seems!
