Man what a way for this year to end. I’m feeling high from this news. We all dream of seeing the material impact of our research and I’ve always been told in the policy world it takes like 17 years, if ever. Here? Idea: 2020—> paper: 2023—>dissemination & advocacy—> material change by end of 2024.

CU Partners with Medicare to Expand Services for Patients with Dementia and Their Caregivers CU is participating in the GUIDE Model, a new health care payment and service delivery model to better support patients with dementia and their caregivers.

Excited to lead one of Colorado's GUIDE programs for persons living with #dementia and their family #caregivers.

I appreciate how this new Medicare program is designed to provide important caregiver support.
