Our individual and collective emotional stamina may be one of the most important things we will need to protect, prioritize, and grow over these coming years. It’s the only way we will survive.

So are we all still making plans/goals/dreams for the future? Or what? Because my husband told me about a trip he wants to take in May and my brain cannot think more than 2 days in advance right now. Are we even gonna still be here in May??

This is honestly the best thing we can do as therapists right now. Just validate everyone having a completely normal reaction to a completely not normal situation

There are so many reasons to not like the Kansas City football team but the main reason is because of their name. Period.

No shade to my younger friends here but I am genuinely terrified for how we will make it out of the next few years if so many young LGB people keep seeing sexuality as a personal private thing. THIS IS HOW WE DISSAPEAR AND IT IS SO SCARY TO SEE YOUNG PEOPLE NOT LISTEN TO LGBTQ ELDERS ABOUT IT

yall better have library cards. Some (most!!) public library systems have seed libraries and libraries of things where you can borrow things you may not need to own.

Also libraries are revolutionary and librarians have always been on the front lines

It is not and never will be ⬅️ vs. ➡️ but always ⬆️ vs. ⬇️. So stop fighting with the people next to you that you are being baited with and start focusing your attention on hurting those above you where it will hurt most; their pockets.

So what are some free activities that we are gonna be taking advantage of over the next few years to help save money but still live life fully??

Most of us do have our own therapists so never worry about being “too much” for us

Not necessarily super human but the vulnerability to be human alongside the clients

Am I the only one stuck on Taylor using a colon after “us” in her Toronto post rather than a period? As a previous editor my brain catches grammar “mistakes” and typos easily but we know none of it is accidental
