I'm about to move up less than an hour away from Eve's orchard, definitely looking forward to trying more of their ciders!

The control bluesky gives us for blocking/muting/ignoring stuff like that is one of the best things about it.

I really didn't expect EA to find a way to become even worse, but here we are.

Bioware going with them was really a terrible decision.

The only time I want a video is if it's something that is conducive to video format, otherwise I'm definitely not watching a video. Don't care if it's news, video games, or how to's. If I need a video I'll be specially looking for one, otherwise give me text and images!

We're moving up to the Southern Tier of NY in a few weeks!

I would argue it goes back much further to Constantine when Christianity became tied to politics for the first time. American Christian nationalism is just one of the logical end routes of that.

Looks like we might be moving up to the Ithaca NY area. If anyone in my network here has either a recommendation for a realtor, or would have any cider-related work possibilities I would love the assist!

I mean, all Civ games tend not to be that great until they are finalized with dlc and all the modders have gotten into it. 7 certainly seems more incomplete at launch than others but I'm not sure how much worse it relatively is than the last few.

I enjoyed it as well! My wife has read most of the books since we finished the series as well.

They are one of my favorites as well!

I'm working for the first time at a shop that sells almost exclusively mass market wine, including the Chicken Wine, that I have to sell and be somewhat knowledgeable about but I have no desire to ever drink, and I feel all of this in my soul. Ugh.

So, it's a whole lot of not good stuff that may have a small good impact. I certainly wouldn't morn any apple concentrate based ciders that stop being produced.

I may not be a fan of bulk culinary apple based ciders, but they are still better than an industrial concentrate concoction. (4/4)

Ideally, trying to move away from cheap imported apple concentrate would also come with supporting domestic Orchards etc. and helping producers switch to using the local products. This is much more of a scorched earth without any real plan for how it would improve industries here. (3/?)

That's not to say I support the scattershot approach to tarrifs at all, so it's a "broken clock is still right twice a day" situation.

And I don't want to diminish the impact it is going to have financially on people either. (2/?)

I just saw a Wired article about how the tarrifs are going to increase the cost of apple juice (and other products that use apple concentrate) and I'm honestly not mad about that. Supporting domestic Orchards instead of foreign ones is the kind of thing tarrifs should support. (1/?)
