What I want you to do about it? I don’t know, be kind to trans people, call it out if someone is being bigoted. Nothing that’s not standard allyship.

Zack Polanski’s landslide win is cool, but it’s not the slam-dunk “greens hate transphobia, woohoo!” moment that some seem to think it is.

Looking through the results of the Green party elections, and this jumped out at me - we were a few dozen votes away from having a transphobe as *management coordinator*, a role meant to represent members and which involves *safeguarding* responsibilities. That’s kind of terrifying.

y'know, all the jokes and shows of defiance aside, it is actually extremely scary to be trans in this country. I am frightended.
