Your 'Cardiff Professor' clearly has absolutely no idea how RADAR works. A 180m long tanker cannot go 'radar silent', and will be very visible on the radar screens of any vessel nearby.

FYI That's a pilot boat, not RNLI. Easy mistake to make though!

And there's no point trying to educate them about how maritime rescue actually works and is coordinated in the UK - they're not interested in the truth, especially when it contradicts their lies and agenda.
