The main goal of localization is to increase reach and sales. Which region to prioritize really depends on where you see the most potential players for your game. Iโ€™d say, for Spanish, Latin American Spanish usually covers a bigger audience, mostly due to population numbers.

Hi, Matt! It always depends on the target audience. Translators often use neutral Spanish* for a broad audience, but if itโ€™s for a specific region, we adapt to that dialect. So, itโ€™s not really random. There are definitely market expectations.

*Neutral Spanish avoids region-specific words.
