emploid with your mom, Buddy

Yeah I’m emploid, what of it?

In the end the emploids lost, but not for the reasons the brokies would have you believe. Instead the oligrapists destroyed the emploids before everyone was destroyed by the clankers.

Per tankies, the reason rightwing authoritarianism is bad is that it can turn into democracy.

It’s my default feed. So like it’s most of my Bluesky experience.

Hey @spacecowboy17.bsky.social sky.social, how are you funding this and how much is it costing you?

There’s one a two-minute walk from where I live, so I go there. It’s not bad for London. Better than you could get in the ’90s in Pittsburgh or even DC.

We called it Hillarycare back in ’93 when Bill made her chair of the task force!

Also, the replies to this demonstrate that some of us are still confused about the ranking: bsky.app/profile/tov....

Agreed. I just hope we’re all ranking the alternatives in the right order.

It’s so stupid I can’t take it anymore.

I’m still mentoring interns, because as you point out, it would be a bad move to stop.

“The number of Nazis in power” is not exactly the right thing to minimize. The right thing to minimize is “the amount of power that Nazis have overall”. Nazis have a lot more power as part of a Nazi party in majority than they do by sneaking into an anti-Nazi party.

I want Schumer replaced with someone who doesn’t suck, both as leader and as senator. I will eagerly donate to and vote for a credible primary challenger to him. But in the general,

You’d prefer a Nazi party in power over a center-left party in power then? How nice for you! Very privileged position to be in if you feel safe with our whole government controlled by Nazis.

I couldn’t care less about the individuals involved.

This isn’t hard. My answer for every election in the near future between a D and an R is to vote for the D, because I think the most important thing, so long as the R party are all horrible insane fascists, is that the D party control as much of the government as possible for as long as possible.

I don’t believe anything about them other than they will caucus with the party that nominated them.

I think Janet Mills would be a much better senator than Nazi tattoo guy, but “who would be the better senator?” is a secondary criterion behind “which party will control the Senate?”.

It’s not about either of them personally. It’s about their vote for majority leader.

You should probably read Burrowcrats’s posts again, because none of what you are claiming is in there. The posts are consistently about Platner being better than Collins. Any breathing human who would caucus with the Dems so they control the chamber is better than Collins.

my favorite is “without capitalism humans would not be racist.”

got this one yesterday actually!

guy did a good job on the connection between racism and power (thanks, kwame ture), but seems to believe that without capitalism there’s no power (thanks, kwame ture)

If I have to choose between people who want me to wear a yellow star badge and people who want to send me to the death camps, I know who I choose, but I’m gonna pretty damn suspicious of the badge people, not least because I’ve seen this before.

I think some people are treating trans sports rules as a slippery slope issue, and it has been used that way by anti-trans activists. Also I would not trust someone who acts all chummy with people who want to end me. But I’d prefer them to the people I *know* want to end me.

So what it’s really about is “I’m not going to endorse anyone who wants to take away rights”, and uhhhh I’m going to argue that voting isn’t an endorsement, rather than arguing that they should endorse.

I don’t think human rights are a pet issue, and I’m reluctant to tell people that they have to sacrifice their rights (temporarily?) for the greater good. Though that’s not actually even the scenario they’re contemplating, because in that scenario those rights are lost either way.
