sorry my notifs were off— i was GONNA write my own dialogue but remembered this inframaterialist dialogue from communist side stuff and it was perfect for her lol, just tweaked a bit

at meyerhoff or glace grill, bc i remember the general fries at meyerhoff were pretty solid but i dont remember them serving garlic fries (2018-2023ish)

a scan of a traditional drawing done with ohuhu alcohol markers. it's a drawing of akane and junpei from the 999 game / zero escape series. junpei is depicted in an unsettling way in akane's hold, one of her arms around his back, hand resting on his shoulder, the other hand over his face, akane leaning close. junpei's expression defeated or forlorn, while akane's looks grim. thin black lines weave spirals and waves over a maroon background, with various paintings of different sizes and shapes hanging like on a wall. the paintings are extremely simple, but with very detailed golden-coloured frames. the overall atmosphere of the drawing is a sombre one.

i feel like the scan doesn't entirely capture how it looks in traditional, but it is what it is 🥀

also ive stopped doing end of year art things bc while it’s super fun it’s just not a standard i can hold myself to as a slow artist with a full time job. shit will get done when it gets done

i do personally think hands aren’t very hard to draw (for myself) but the other day i was drawing one and going ‘man this is so easy. first try.’ then zoomed out and it was the most dogshit hand of my life
