Ideally Id want SN2 to mostly be an iteration of the 1st game but I doubt we will get that given how long it has been
Like imagine a game where you already have at least 8 SAS in the beginning and from the get go is as "hard" as Shadow On The Recording (the DLC superboss)

Anyway nice to see people realizing that not being able to cancel moves by dodging is totally fine in SN cause you have alternative, more powerful defensive options (which can be used mid animation!!!)

It will never not be funny how Arise doesn't let you put bosses in hitstun, while the SN team made the DLC superboss easier to start a combo compared to the final boss in the base game once you figure out how Iron Stance works

Scarlet Nexus was a better game than Tales of Arise and I'd much rather have Bandai Namco make a Scarlet Nexus 2

Being real for a sec, while SN has its own fair share of issues (low enemy/moveset variety for its length, enemies cant keep up with how OP you are by endgame, etc) I do think its combat has an infinitely more """cohesive vision""" of what its trying to be than Arise's combat

Little late but ideally you want to focus on defeating tsugumi first cause then you can keep spamming Invisibility and the rest wont target you. And using special PK objects put them into a temporary state where they are interrupted with every attack so be sure to use that every now and then

Xillia 2 is *the* one Im most excited to play though not for gameplay reasons (Kenji Anabuki my GOAT)
though I guess the vita games arent that from what I've seen of them

tho tbf its probably moreso cause Vespy DE was my first Tales game (I still don't know if I got lucky or extremely cursed by this)
