Yeah he goes places on this record I never expected. And it sounds huge and confident in the harmonies and melodies.

This is the best Chino has ever been.

I said in a post that it’s the biggest departure I think they’ve ever taken. It sounds HUGE.

This new Deftones is AWESOME.
Some of the best actual songwriting they’ve ever done. It’s so different but the arrangements and the dynamics are amazing. It’s anthemic and shifting around into soaring melodies. There’s still some deep crunch but sonically maybe the biggest leap they’ve ever taken.
