reading again and listening to audiobooks has been such a joy. i’m trying to stick with nonfiction for audiobooks and fiction for my physical books, and it’s been a nice divide of my attention

okay here are all the fungi books i’ve currently read, in order. i actually kind of recommend this order, too, if you’re new to fungi books or fungi at all like i am. i also *just* started Finding the Mother Tree by Suzanne Simard last night - which i didn’t know was gonna be so mycological!

i had mused on it on my ig stories the other day too, but Entangled Life and Ted Chiang’s Stories of Your Life have a hand to hold…something definitely connects them in my head

also reading The Dispossessed by Ursula K. Le Guin as my current physical book and there’s definitely connections between these

i’ve been listening to Merlin Sheldrake’s “Entangled Life” audiobook and it has been a real brain balm. highly recommend to anyone who loves lil mushrooms and the fungus among us
