With our newly adopted fire-safety codes, New York has one of the strongest regulatory structures in the country, providing the confidence and clarity communities and developers need as we accelerate energy storage deployment statewide.

Today @nyserda.bsky.social convened the Long Island Energy Storage Summit w/ energy, code & fire officials to focus on NY's safety standards, the most rigorous in the country. Battery energy storage will modernize the grid & lower electric costs with NY putting safety first.

I was honored to share my experiences leading @nyserda.bsky.social at the student-run Columbia Energy Symposium. We discussed challenges & how collaboration between govt & private sector keeps NY’s energy transition progressing. I’m always ready to advise students pursuing energy careers!
