Safety, dignity, and freedom must belong to everyone. Our prayers are with the families of everyone held hostage, and with all who continue to suffer in Israel and Gaza.

We remember every life taken, every family shattered, and we renew our call for the immediate release of every single person still held by Hamas.

For two years, Israelis and Palestinians have endured unimaginable loss, trauma, and fear. The pain of October 7, 2023, and the violence that followed continue to reverberate across communities worldwide.

We are filled with cautious hope over tonight’s news of an agreement that will bring home the rest of the living people held hostage by Hamas and move us closer to ending this devastating war.

Sukkot calls us to rejoice, yet this year we also mourn two years of the Oct 7 Hamas attacks on Israel. With renewed hope for peace, for the hostages to come home & for the pain in the region to end, we ask the Divine to spread over us Your sukkah of peace. #UntilTheLastHostage
