I purchased 5 SDS MK51 swerve modules and 9 Kraken X60 motors.

(This will be the drive train of my #robotics team's 2026 robot.)

Still have to get encoders for the steering motors. Must consult with mechanical mentors first.

I was just watching a video of a #tornado when a gust of wind blew leaves off my trees outside. I saw that out of the corner of my eyes and it almost looked like it was associated with the video I was watching.

Freaked me out for a second there...

Yeah, I noticed they didn't include Huntsville, which is the largest city in the state (by land area).

Approximately thirty foot tall oak tree. Its foliage is a beautiful orange-brown.

This is the large oak tree that lives across the street from me. I can see it out my front windows, and it's visible from my sunroom, where my computer is. It's probably 25 years old.

I am jealous. This tree is absolutely fabulous. It's pretty every season of the year.

I just finished that chore. Except my cats are elderly (17) and the box is missed on a daily basis.

The radiator in my 11 year old Ford Escape decided to self destruct on the way home from robotics last night. It limped the last 3 miles to my house.

Now I'm waiting on a tow truck to take it & me to the Ford place to get it repaired. Towing is only $104, but I bet the repair is going to be $$$.

Yellow Gingko tree leaves. They still have a hint of green on them. There are lots of leaves on the ground, from the other trees around this one. There's a wood fence on the right.

My #TulipPoplar tree has FINALLY finished dropping its huge leaves. It started in mid-August.

My Ginkgo tree also finished dropping all it's leaves. It started a week ago.

It's amazing how much quieter this fridge is than the old one. I could even hear the old one running in my bedroom. The only thing I hear from this one is ice dropping into the bin. Plus it doesn't make banging noises every hour or so from contraction/expansion of the cooling mechanism.

O, also I could see it without the camera when I firs went outside.

This is about 15-ish miles from the Tennessee state line.

This is my grandfather, who served on the U.S.S. Enquirer during the Spanish-American War in 1898. The photo is old and a bit degraded. I look like him. He is in his uniform with a hat. There is a tattoo on his chest.

Icemaker bin from a freezer with brown crud all on the bottom. No ice is in the bin.

From my freezer -the bin for the ice maker. I noticed the ice tasted funny a few years ago and stopped using it.

This is one of the reasons a new fridge will be delivered tomorrow. That and the half roll of packing tape holding assorted parts together.

I saw it snow at Thanksgiving about 30 years ago, but this is the first time I've seen it this early!

Granted it's just light flurries, but still. ❄️☃️

Ours is the same, except a few degrees cooler up here in Huntsville/Madison County near the Tennessee border. You never get bored of the weather in Alabama!

Does anyone open a Pillsbury can by pressing a spoon on the seam or do you smack it on the edge of the counter like the old instructions?

I tried with the spoon when they first changed it and gave up and went back to smacking the can.
