Retro games, mostly. πŸ•ΉοΈπŸ‘Ύ I like to collect handheld games/systems. I play things like Pokemon, Zelda, baba is you, Loop Hero, and more modern stuff to keep things spicy. (He/Him)

Yeah, Tears of the Kingdom finally β€œclicked” for me this summer, so this makes sense. I just wish it could show those hours clocked on the Gameboy Color. 71 hours alone on Pokemon Crystal. Good times!

While Tetris is clearly the better puzzle game, I really think Columns for the Sega Game Gear was unfairly overlooked by most during Tetris-mania. It’s a really simple and straightforward match three puzzler.

3D Printed Gameboy cartridge shells have saved some otherwise sad/unplayable carts for me. Plus they look pretty slick.

I feel like this is the case for 75% of the games for the NES. As a kid I was all "I don't need instructions for a Transformer, I don't need 'em for a NES game!" Now I'm going back and reading some of them and finding out that I missed a decent chunk of context and lore.

My favorite part about this 1989 copy of β€œMore Strategies for Nintendo Games” (aside from the lore summaries before each game) is how the cover art in no way bares any relationship to ANY games covered, and the more you look at it, the more confusing it gets.

Core memory: PS1 bios sound playing though that one obnoxiously rich kid’s home theater. I didn’t realize it had that much bass until that moment.

Me: Can we get Castlevania?
Mom: No, we have Castlevania at home

Any tips? My backlog has started looking at me with disappointment.

Rockman Battle & Fighters for the Neo Geo Pocket Color is such a fun concept. It’s like β€œOops, all boss fights!”

I’m not saying that things were better or anything, but the ZX was trying some interesting things with those keys. I’m glad it didn’t catch on, but that was a wild time for computers. I’d still take that C64, though.

Tetris for the Wonder Swan Color is the best version of Tetris and I’ll die on this hill. Except for the music. The music kinda sucks.

Saturday Night Game: I wish I had known about Crusader of Centy when it came out. It was so unusual to have an action rpg for the Genesis, let alone a fun one.

I know I’m late to the party and all, but 12 badges into Scarlet and I just can’t get past the feeling that SwSh was better and that I just want to go finish that Crystal replay I started a while ago.

1️⃣ Does a tray loading Sega CD count? (Silpheed was sooo good).
2️⃣ That sega cd plus the model 1 Genesis and a 32x. Sold it for a PS1 because Metal Gear Solid and Gran Tourismo looked that good.
3️⃣ A model 2 Genesis. Still looking for a 32x and a Sega Cd, for it.

35 followers, despite me not posting anything? I figure it's either bots or this is like the really early days of micro-blogging where people just genuinely wanted to find connection with people with similar interests.
