Don’t idolize Andor, sure.
But don’t dismiss it… It has the ability to bring many atrocities to the awareness of the people who come from countries that were never colonized.
It encourages understanding of our collective brutal past… and hopefully, better future. 3/3

People my generation have shared the trauma of our dear ones, way before trauma was popular.
Read about Jallianwala Bagh massacre… Andor’s last season’s climax point is based on that, and brutally so. Andor shows those days visually, albeit only in likeness (not as-is) 2/3

I don’t mean to be rude or presumptuous, but informative. So please take it in good spirit.
Coming from a country that was colonized by an “Empire”… Andor is exceptionally close to the heart.
I wasn’t alive when my ancestors lived under the British empire, but I have heard first hand stories. 1/3

You’re already doing enough… eh? 😅

PS - I’ll never understand why JS decided to have 2 nothing types: null and undefined.
26.05.2025 00:00 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0
Absolutely! And there’s nuance
If you want to check if a boolean variable exists or not… don’t use “null === foo”. You’ll have to do “null === foo || undefined === foo”
However, in that case shorthand is: “null == foo”
See what I did there. Know your language indeed!

“Would you feel better if she ordered in the food or cooked for you?”
- Akaash Singh (Comedian)
I’ll always remember this line and put it in the context of AI generated art…
Couldn’t agree more with you @gwiggs.bsky.social

Thanks @hankgreen.bsky.social for articulating so well.
Anything attributed to God, reduces (if not voids) our ability to help others. In Hinduism, Karma is one such thing too… it gives justification to be born in “lower caste” or “poverty” or “with disease”
Other religions have their own versions

Looking great!
Wish-listed… Will get the demo. Curious how you solved the directional controls in isometric perspective

It’s like saying: “Any skilled carpenter can use a hand-saw. Power-saw is just for people who can’t even use a hammer properly”
Can do… doesn’t always mean should do. Eh?

I have realised that at work, if the team decides to go with a css framework... I'll just do everything with Bootstrap
While on my personal projects I'll try everything twice before settling. So much so, the decision takes longer than the actual work on the project itself #softwaredev #frontend

A cluster of delicate white mushrooms with translucent gills grows on a moss-covered log in a lush, green forest. The soft backlighting highlights the intricate structure of the gills, casting a warm, golden glow. The blurred green background enhances the ethereal quality of the fungi, making them appear almost luminous. The composition emphasizes the organic shapes and delicate details of the mushrooms in their natural habitat.

At the equinox of 20 March 2025, our planet is neither tilted towards nor away from the Sun, creating nearly equal day/night. This stunning Meteosat-12 image taken earlier this morning showcases the boundary between day and night running straight through the poles.
🌍 Happy #Equinox! On 20 March 2025 at 09:01 GMT/10:01 CET, just a few moments ago, the Sun appeared directly above Earth's equator - with our planet neither tilting towards nor away from the Sun!

Pico CSS • Minimal CSS Framework for semantic HTML
Minimalist and lightweight starter kit that prioritizes semantic syntax, making every HTML element responsive and elegant by default.
Tailwind is too much for a small project… Bootstrap is too rigid.
I guess I’ll have to look into a small css library now. And add customizations on top.
