Idk, it's weird to me that last year his endorsement was a sign of much needed bipartisanship but now that he's dead Cheney is again the Darth Vader-esque Boogeyman who is solely to blame for Iraq and the war on terror.

Btw, considering this narrative is pretty widely believed, I feel like it makes it even more egregious that Kamala Harris flaunted Cheney's endorsement of her.

I think Bush and Cheney knew exactly what they were doing, along with Rumsfeld and everyone else in that administration. They are all equally guilty and complicit in the ruin and misery they brought about.

from the likes of Rumsfeld, Powell, Rice, Tenet, and not to mention George W. Bush, the president of the United States at the time. I think that was my biggest issue with Adam McKay's Vice, and just the idea in general that Cheney was the one secretly pulling the strings.

Seriously, fuck Dick Cheney, truly one of the most evil people to ever exist, but I do really dislike the narrative that he was the "architect behind the war on terror" and "Mastermind of the Iraq War." He's guilty as hell, but I think when you use language like that you remove too much blame

Opposition to SNAP is inherently based in racism and classism.

As someone who has used SNAP benefits before, you cannot use them to "get your nails done." You can't even use them to buy hot food or fucking laundry detergent or toilet paper. The payment will not go through. You have to separate it from grocery items and pay separately.
