I also received a shipment of contact lenses yesterday. All that was with it was a packing slip. No extra presents. Guess we know who Acuvue likes better.

My cats have been staring at the dishwasher every evening for weeks. This morning the power went out and they stared at the oven. I don’t know what’s happening.

I did not solve it twice. I’m just still getting used to how things work here. Hey, what does this light switch do?

It is negative six degrees outside this morning. I’ll gladly borrow a few extra degrees if anyone has any lying around that they’re not using.

Another one that I both loved and hated

Was away for the weekend. Came home and the orange cat ran away from me and hissed at me. #TinyKittyBrain.

Postscript: I gave him skritches and I am now remembered and forgiven.

Two summers ago, a pair of goats got loose and were running around our neighborhood. A bunch of us tried to capture them, but we could not. I wonder whatever happened to them.

The thermostat in my office is set to 74 degrees. I have a sweater on. It is less than 74 degrees in here.
