I don't know about brands, I'm guessing it's easy to get a cheap decent one now. but when I bought one I went with one that has a door and not a pull out tray and I like that design choice better. hinge is hard to clean but easier in and out for trays and toast etc

yea i used to and i guess still do eat them cold cause then you really mute the flavor out, but its filling and doesnt really taste bad, just bland. def was an easy thing to throw in our bags to go in the woods with all day as a kid
