I generally view him as the freelancer of the party, he's just got good overall utility and can do a bit of everything. it's what makes him so good. but his capacity to be the first endgame character is his selling point. he's what gets other characters into the endgame by making it safer to level.

being able to hard carry a party by having kimhari in it casually doing 10k damage per attack so that they can benefit from the xp of higher level mobs is great, and he's generally a great second thief and can be a good white mage too.

Kimhari actually has an incredibly specific sort of utility as he's the first character able to break into ffx's endgame due to his celestial weapon being the easiest one to get and his sphere grid being the most flexible one in the game. yeah his blue magic sucks but it at least has *some* utility

the funniest outcome of zohran's election is that it triggers a wildfire of real left-wing people with actual principles coming out of the woodwork to replace the entire establishment party.
