Having looked it up, I feel a tad nice.

The yellers have been saying that RoP is nothing but fanfic, anyway. Of course, that won't necessarily deter them from yelling at other fanfic. If you-- I mean, "said person" could embrace those who enjoy it and ignore the yellers, then they should go for it.

Unfortunately, there are a number of people that see what he's doing as a power grab and are okay with it as they believe his lies, that he is rooting out corruption and fixing a broken system. The fools don't understand that history DOES repeat itself.

As an American, I get it!

Just curious, is there the same kind of plague of disinformation that goes on there as well?

I will say, I'm intrigued by the fact that there are three readings to your post;
1. You smoked too much pot and that has given you anxiety

It has a reputation of being a killer. I always recommend that you have a map of Beleriand opened next to you as you read so that you don't have to keep flipping to the map in the book. If you don't have Fonstad's Atlas of Middle-earth (a must-have for any Tolkien fan) lotrproject.com is great.

It was definitely a barrier for me on my first or second attempt at a read through.
