24 hours on from finishing and my reflection is that this book kept me awake most of the night with horrific thoughts. Going for a cheap thriller now to recover.

Your tomatoes are ugly. We swear ugly tomatoes taste ten times nicer than beautiful looking ones. Hard to find ugly tomatoes in UK but on French holidays they are our go to. Bon appétit!

I think this is an area to manage. It could be people think they need to update you constantly.
Talk about comms. Establish norms for when you’ll check. Identify what emergencies are and how people will make emergency contact so you are not constantly checking.
It takes time but you can change this.

I think a massive difference is the lack of support for children growing up with enduring trauma. When I started teaching social care would have been active. Their behaviours spiral and many schools don’t know what to do with them. Zero tolerance becomes an easy fix or lever. Tragic on all levels.
