My dad's 83 and suffering with dementia, but even when he couldn't remember where he lived and who his family were, he remembered that he's vocally hated DJT since he was elected the first time. I'm not giving ANYONE slack about not knowing how much of an ass clown our bigot in chief is.

Well, "meow" can be an appropriate response to almost anything really. I think you have found the best response.

Every once in a while I feel the need to paint something to remind people that there are defenders of books, especially the ones that exist to give strength and comfort to marginalized youth.

An ORDINARY owl might not be able to remove a bigots hand. Do not try Library Owl, however.

What creature should get the trans flag treatment next?

I've been meaning to do this for a while and finally got around to it.
I enjoyed those wizard books when I read them, but as their author becomes increasingly determined to hurt people I care about, I wanted to use my old copies to do something better to support trans/ace/nonconforming people.

On a background of somewhat yellowed pages from a book, a gryphon in the colors of the trans pride flag sits in loaf position, with a pride rainbow color dragon next to them, who is looking up smiling at the approaching owl in the ace pride colors. Gryphon is smiling, but obviously up to some variety of mischief.
