Changing the world one line at a time. Design a perfect system and its users' skills won't matter due to errors being efficiently and gracefully handled. Programmer. Social critic. Musician. 🎸🎹 Golfer. Tennis player.♂️ "God" is a null pointer.

It always seemed odd to me accounting is zero-sum but the economy is purported to be non zero-sum, but the economy is measured by the accounting. Then factor in how the accounting ignores externalities and the outcome is today's disaster.

In a democracy, we are supposed to feel like we have control over our lives because the people control the government.

But in the U.S., people feel like our lives are out of control because the people don’t control the federal government.

Here's a C Major voicing (of many on a guitar) in the notation:

That's read: "A4 on/at B3" on a guitar in standard tuning (i.e. the 10th fret of the B string). I use it like text guitar tab, and the notation is easy to parse in machine code.

The U.S. needs a national commission to repair the biggest flaw in our political system: bad faith by a major political party, one which normalizes fraud and lies as its core political strategy, rather than rational civil administration.
The foundation of the problem is competing epistemologies.

What I can't stop thinking about is the Trump agent seen on camera clapping, literally clapping with glee, seconds after his coworkers executed a US citizen in broad daylight for peacefully exercising his First Amendment rights

It feels like we are having one Kent State a day and no one can stop it

Do the mistakes of AI, and its predecessor auto-complete, help fine tune our thinking? Or does it add a layer of unnecessary, inefficient, wasted labor to the tools? Artificial mistakes wreck the intellectual and emotional flow of our natural thoughts.
