I’m starting to realise how massive my surgery was. How unlikely the result, after talking to my surgeon today.

The cancer I have and the way the scans look . . I was prepped for a terminal prognosis. They expected to have large chunks of inoperable tumour, in a cancer that was growing fast and

does not easily respond to chemo.

Instead they found no fluids, no sign of spread across my abdomen, no bad nodes. The cancer has, for whatever reason, stayed surface level on bowel. They achieved what they called a R0 Resection.

Which in ovarian cancer is massive apparently.

I don’t know how. But I’ve gone in 3 weeks from “this will likely kill you” to “mop up chemo and monitor to check this bitch doesn’t come back”

My head is still processing and likely will be for a while. And I’m not out the woods yet. Chemo for this is brutal. But I’ve got a dog in the fight now.

Are we clear now a private businessman shouldn’t be in a position to control the space program—that this richest man in the world fueled by drugs, ego & hate shouldn’t be partnering with a malignant sociopath in the WH immunized by the SCOTUS & bent on pocketing billions & flouting the Constitution?

The wild card is obviously Diaz himself, & how he reacts to us turning Barca down over negotiations, & the no new contract thing. We’ll have to see on that.

Already his support is waning, a string of polls released to mark the 100 days showing voter approval has plummeted to historic lows at this point in a presidency. The US economy is shrinking. Tourism is crashing alongside the country's global reputation. And Canada's election has shown that foreign politicians who fight for liberal values and put their country's interests first by standing up to Trump's bullying can thrive - while those that get too close to him can crash.
