I'm still puzzling over Ita Buttrose claiming in court today that ABC staff had not checked into Ms Lattouf's background in any way, and Ms Buttrose had formed no opinion of her one way or the other - but somehow Ms Buttrose knew with great certainty that Ms Lattouf was an "activist".

Fantastic to see the challenge to unfair and unreasonable political donation laws going to the High Court.

Major parties already have huge advantages. They don’t need extra special exemptions from complying with donation laws.
