All day every day! Every time I think that success in Darwinian evolution is about utilitarian abilities to survive and procreate, I see an otter video and am reminded there’s another route to success.

Obviously, nobody is a member of the fictional group. But the lack of accountability and shame from Bondi is off the charts. They will lie about anything and everything to keep doing what they are doing: turning this country into a fascist mess.

Not so odd. Nearly every autocrat dehumanizes his opponents, thereby giving license to “normal” citizens to turn viciously on their neighbors. Trump is one man and he can’t trample us without significant help. But to your original point: he’s not cold; he’s relitigating every injury in his life.

How many of these damn videos do we have to see before we march on DC and peacefully return to protest every single day until every single member of this fascist government is ushered out of office and into a courtroom. It might take decades, but we need to document & prosecute.

There was also a time when a president from one party did not constantly characterize the other party as the enemy. This is not a functioning government; it’s a soft civil war that Magats would like to turn into a full on war. It’s F-ing ugly and patently traitorous.

Well aware of this work, and I reference it constantly. There are a lot of us who are loudly speaking out, who are fighting back, but it’s an uphill battle when a government for all is perverted into a government for the few and against the many. Our system was not designed with easy fixes for this.

I know this crowd is too well-informed to need explainers, but Bernie and AOC break down the shutdown well. Republicans want to take away health care. Premiums for ALL will DOUBLE and Yale and U Penn predict 50k poor Americans will die every year as a direct result. The shut down is fighting this!

Huh, I don’t recall that. I do agree that leaders should demonstrate a certain degree of restraint and civility (and that it should come from an authentic place). Obviously those are traits in short supply these days. Without it, we see ripple effects like violence…

Are you actually equating Clinton to Trump in horribleness? That’s bananas. Even the others don’t come remotely close! Ditto for Harris, who, like Hillary, should have been President.

This is just proof that there should be more women leaders. In the course of history, the number of female leaders who have done what these f-ers have is a statistically insignificant figure compared to the horrors men have unleashed… just saying.

Why didn’t they walk out when the Orange Man spoke for three times as long as he was supposed to? Were they afraid he would slap tariffs on them? He will anyway. Time to stand up to him everywhere. And good for them for at least walking out during this tyrant’s speech.
