At our family gathering we discovered a copy of the board game “Blizzard of ‘77” inspired by the storm that clobbered Buffalo. Turns out that ALL of the Guehrings spent most of the blizzard incarcerated in Jail for plowing their cars into other Guehrings or violating the city-wide driving bans.

So exciting to be in the rehearsal room for my play SECRET KINDNESS AGENTS! Learning so much about the dialogue and character voices. Fun to really fine tune the lines to fit the amazing actors!

Just finished my last class of my WRITE A NOVEL IN A YEAR (Middle Grade/Young Adult) from STORY STUDIO in CHICAGO. What a great program and great teacher I learned so much, met some amazing writers, and finished my first draft of a middle grade book!
