                The Merry Ploughman
Deepest darkest Suffolk, and a bric-a-brac market! Despite the eye-watering prices, there are still treasures to be found. Two postcards catch my eye. The first is this ploughman, stooped from yearโฆ

Norfolk Day! So here's a piece I wrote some years back about a Norfolk postcard that I found on a bric-a-brac stall. It's all about Hilton Spanton Forster, and his cousin Norman Breeze. If nothing else, worth looking at for the picture of Norman on the back of a bullock

The All-Night Garage (at the End of the World)
Rummaging through the boxes in the loft on the hunt for something or other, I come across a drawing, by me, of the room I had in Aberdeen just after I left home. In ink, itโs a scratchy affaiโฆ

So I went up into the loft, in search of something or other, and found this old drawing, made by me of my room in halls way back in 1990.
I've written about it, and the experience of leaving home in Sussex and moving a zillion miles away to Aberdeen.
