Congrats to Lisa Murkowski on voting for a bill that she herself admitted was not ready in hopes that the House would change it. Now it’ll become law. She had the power to stop it, and instead chose to become complicit. That’s her legacy.

With ICE's *enormous* new budget and its ability to hire *many* more agents, the United States is about to enter an era of brutal domestic terrorism that we've never seen before.

I don’t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE.

This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.

It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing.

If "government can finally start living within its means again", as Speaker Johnson just said, then why did we have to raise the debt ceiling by 5 trillion dollars?

The GOP just passed a bill most of them vehemently disagree with — and that they know is going to harm their constituents — because they’re afraid of Trump.

My immediate thoughts on the most monstrous, immoral piece of legislation I’ve ever voted on in the Senate.

But I’m not done fighting. I know you aren’t either.

VP Vance has cast the deciding vote in the Senate to cut Medicaid, take away food assistance, blow up the deficit, and add tax breaks for the wealthiest.

This bill is unpopular because it is wrong.

Congress votes this week, but it’s our voices - and our votes - that will have the final say.
