Canadarm2's cosmic catches Catching an unpiloted cargo ship calls for extremely precise work from the Canadian robotic arm.

Canada's Canadarm2 made another successful catch Sept. 18th, grabbing the Cygnus cargo ship and attaching it to the space station.
This is the largest vehicle so far.
Canadarm2 wasn't designed to do this but our techs figured out how to make it work.

Australia is not alone. Canada, UK, and most of Europe have suspended shipping packages to the USA.

Yes! On top of the tariff you have now to pay duty as well. If you order an item of $10 from a Canadian online store you pay 35% tariff. It costs you now $13.50.
Without the de minimis rule you have to pay (as of today) an additional duty of $200.
Your item went from $10 to $213.50.

De minimis is connected to duties and is in addition to the tariffs.
If you would buy an item of $10 from an online store in Canada you would pay 35% in tariffs and duty of up to $200 as of today.
So your item costs you instead of $10 now $213.50.
What if you can’t buy this item in the US?

With the de minimis rule gone you will pay another $80 in duty in the future if ordering from the UK. If you order something from Canada it can be up to $200 on top of the 35% tariffs.

It would be cheaper to invest in Basic Income than the up to $92billions a year Canada spends on keeping people in poverty.
