Fall is on, or is it autumn? Either way, a recent warm evening included this rosรฉ and main dish shrimp salad combo #winesky

In the NE, barely in Galicia, DO Ribeira Sacra. Takes dedication thereโ€ฆ mountains and steep river valleys. Alvaredos-Hobbs and O Estranxeiro could be easier to find.

Point taken. Yet take a region like Cigales DO in Spain. Rosรฉ has been made there since the Middle Ages. Itโ€™s no trend.

Incredible. When combining quality and flavor of their various roasts and staff/ barista performance, one of the top three artisan roasters IMHO @noblecoffee on IG

Agree w/Andrew. Adding on, craziest thing in wine this week is from Jancis Robinson, MW. Much, not all, Provence rosรฉ is based on a trend, & now: "โ€ฆProvence, FR vine-growers say theyโ€™re paid more by grape concentrate makers designed to sweeten ketchup than by those fermenting grapes into wine."

Thatโ€™s too bad. In FR, they are consistent and not bad.

When I reach for Bordeaux, I prefer something softened by age. Porte Chicโ€™s Pomerol โ€˜15 hit that sweet spot - big on flavor layers, perky acidity, silky tannins, velvety soft. A wine to cuddle up with on a cool autumn evening with a significant other or a good book! Best part? #Winesky
