Have you seen The Northman? Mental Robert Eggers Viking film where they really went for historical accuracy (& blew the budget...). Horses still wrong (except a few lovely Icelandic ponies) but it's a great-very violent-film

Yeah, it always annoys me in historical/'historical' films/TV when the horses are huge and sexy.
Though I suppose if your huge and sexy action star was riding a New Forest pony they would look a bit silly to modern audiences

Roaches aren't usually an issue in the UK outside very urbanised areas...unless one has escaped from the red runners I breed for my tarantulas (it happened ONCE...ok maybe twice. Or three times.)
