When I go to the redistricting pages I can see an icon at the upper right that will translate the page into one of a long list of languages. Does that not appear throughout?

Really happy to see one of the best darn advocates for her community be acknowledged tonight with members of the Flood Action Committee. @katieway.bsky.social is the real deal in informed, persuasive, grassroots organizing. We are lucky to have her pushing us all to do better on flooding in ALX.

Thank you for your kind words and tireless work. The program wouldn’t be where it is without you! Also, thank you for the pics with my little. We stayed longer because she thought it was cool to see some pretty badass women up there speaking. And I thought that was worth the late bedtime. :)

It is actually reminding me of how sewer laterals are treated as well. Especially for homes built after the mid 1940’s. Anything off the main, including under the street, is homeowners responsibility. You would think property line, not the case.

Today has been at a different level.

It’s not even cold out and I’m trying to manifest actual fall today by wearing mine. 😂 going to be real pissed if we skip “Patagonia chilly” and head straight into “North Face cold”

This only makes me love them more. Last week was a bad week when I thought I’d lost my jacket I’ve had since undergrad at App. Found it buried in the back of the car and you’d thought Christmas had come early.

Silver lining… at least they are wasting time and money on homes they aren’t going to get.

Plus, it’s a great brand that (I imagine) hasn’t loved this particular spotlight. I’ve always imagined the founder semi laughing at the knowledge that so many climate deniers are providing climate research and awareness funding through their purchases.

It also has something to do with how many cars may need to be alerted and stopped, so (my assumption) is that the commonwealth/my Vernon intersection is a major complicating factor for the area. Even late.

The agent was really kind. You could tell he felt bad for the late night passes and indicated some take that policy more seriously than others.

I stopped and asked one of them about this earlier this week after a particularly late night pass that included at least three sirens. There is, apparently, a policy that specifies when and how much siren is used. I feel like we need Will Ferrel and cowbells to go over this…

I think total can’t be more than 10st ft with one being no larger than 4ft? Don’t remember specifics.
