Not enough people talking about the fact that NOAA cuts have significantly fucked up weather forecasting. While the winter storm is undeniable, localized forecasts have been grossly inaccurate and/or fluid.

There may be some niche examples somewhere, but I cannot think of any system, natural or human-made, that isn't strengthened by more diversity. Ecology, biology, economics, politics, agriculture... am I missing anything?

Even as ICE receives $170B in new funding, it has stopped paying for medical care for detainees — including life-saving medications, dialysis, and chemotherapy treatments.

Remember: Over 70% of detainees have no criminal convictions.

• Red State Florida has 1.6 M undocumented immigrants

• Blue State Minnesota has 130,000.

And yet only Minnesota is being occupied by masked thugs over "immigration."

It's *not* about immigration.
