27.09.2025 11:30 โ ๐ 4 ๐ 2 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0until i find a wizard that can help me find the root cause, my suspicion is that the timing goes out of wack when rolling back causing the multiplexing order to change across clients, somehow resulting in a desync.
19.07.2025 21:52 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0its been quite hard to progress on bsnes-netplay because my knowledge in emulator specifics is limited, but so far when testing its fine as long as i dont enable rollback when multitap is enabled, so ill prolly create a build that disables rollback when multitap is enabled (1/2)
19.07.2025 21:52 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0progress is progressing :) 5man bsnes netplay multitap soon
13.07.2025 21:13 โ ๐ 7 ๐ 2 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Been working on stuff lots of stuff on the background but BSNES multitap (5-player) functionality coming in the next netplay release don't have a date yet but it's getting close :) the SNES sports fans are gonna love this.
12.07.2025 23:52 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Squeezed in two hours of SNES netplay tonight using Heat's new bsnes build
We've prayed for times like this. We're so back!!!
SNES and GB netplay in a single package? can it get any better :)
12.07.2025 00:30 โ ๐ 4 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Good news everyone! Since Bsnes uses a sameboy core for Super Gameboy, we decided to try out some SGB enhanced gameboy fighters to see if they work on Heat's rollback client!
They do!!!
just do whatev man! have fun playing :)
10.07.2025 22:18 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Thanks to everyone for supporting my projects.
I just wanna create cool stuff that people get to have fun with and actually use. It's night and day compared to my job where it sometimes feels I'm typing into an endless void.
Good Evening!
First build of bsnes netplay is here, below is a small example how you would set it up with spectators (you need actual ips/ports when using it yourself).
Have fun!
