So, you threaten somebody with 145% tariffs. Then you lower them to just 30% and they're really grateful for your generosity.
Great negotiation tactic.

So, we had to nationalise British Steel in order to ensure that we are not dependent on imports of virgin steel to keep our other industries running.
What about also nationalising COAL so that we are not dependent on coal imports to keep our national steel factory's blast furnace running?
That was brave! :-)

Countries that export steel to US won't be able to sell it and so will be looking to dump their goods at cut-price to other countries. Those other counties will be forced to protect their own industry, and so on it will go...

On a whim, I decided to have a go at growing #bonsai. I've begun by buying 5 x Oak seedlings from eBay. Got to start somewhere. Additionally, I've managed to buy a number of Wisteria seeds and beech tree seeds. Watch this space.

My #allotment daffodils managed to open just in time for Christmas. :-)

Will my #allotment #daffodils flower by Christmas? They're looking promising!

This friendly little fellow follows me round as I dig my allotment. I thinks he's hoping I'll dig up a juicy worm or two.
