While I think most literate people can be insightful and articulate in text form, if given enough time to collect their thoughts, it is a rare talent to be able to do that verbally, in real time, while responding to interruptions, hostile jibes or pointed questions and STILL get your point across.

Yes it's the moral and truthful position, but even on cold-blooded electoralism, going for the pro/neutral on migration vote is *far* more sensible.

Would prefer sticking to spending multipliers, post WW2 analogies, predictable investment etc.

Only been voting since 2015 but only been Labour for me too till last election with Greens.

Labour can’t challenge Reform when they’re too cowardly to challenge the hatred of migrants (and trans people)

The fact McSweeney is given credit for 2024 is a total failure of journalism.

The Tories lost. The most unpopular ever *and* Reform splitting the right wing vote for the first time.

And still Labour lost 2 shadow ministers, Wes Streeting only 500 votes away. Tiny vote share. Pathetic.
