support whomever you’d like, but what is frustratingly dishonest about this take is that actual issue — the thing critics have identified as the problem — isn’t the decision of the 21-year old to get the tattoo, but of the judgment of the 40-year old who still has it.

EA's AI Game Development Tools Are Apparently So Bad That It's Costing More Money To Fix Their Mistakes A new report suggests that EA's pivot to AI is just causing costly mistakes, and the developers hate it.

If only everyone could have predicted this

Maybe its just me but the whole “hey white people show off your nazi phase” apologia thing thats happening is weird as shit because it shows what kind of heinous shenanigans you’ll accept and people are 100% right to judge you for it

"How do you expect to win back men...?"

We don't want those men. They are the hot dogs on the floor of humanity and we still have all these nice prepped hamburger patties if someone would just let them cook.

Reminded of a conspiracy theorist/turbo racist I had the unfortunate experience of working with for 1+1.5 years and I often describe as the "worst person I've met offline" though unfortunately she's gained some competition in the last few years for that title.

Disabled people should be allowed to get married without losing our healthcare. We shouldn’t have to choose between weddings and staying alive. In 2025 we still have no marriage rights or property rights. We never have, and it’s total shit. Fuck Eugenics, we deserve so much better.

Israel is not "testing" the ceasefire, they are breaking it, just like they always do.

The only thing Israel has been "testing", for decades, is the moral fucking decency of Western media and governments, proving quite thoroughly that they are the same genocidal racists they've always been.

Watching DS9 for the first time ( like a lot of Bluesky apparently), in S6. It's very good. And damn between this and Babylon 5, the 90s really were spoiled for great sci Fi tv actually

Hey look, Israel broke the cease-fire, twice, in two different ways, within 24 hours - again.

I know Premee probably tire of hearing people who like your books be flabbergasted by this but it still feels insane.

Anyway, Siege of Burning Grass was a five star read for me and I recommend it to everyone.

We did not weather nigh two decades of “lazy millennials are destroying every single industry” to turn around and do this to Gen Z!!!

Especially since DH is really fun to watch based on the DH content they are making so far and the game is way more successful than they could have anticipated especially after Candela Obscura was middling in the market.

Maybe campaign 5. At least they have confirmed Umbra is getting new seasons

They've done some interviews since and it seems they made this decision months before DH was even released and there were concerns about well it'd do and teaching a bunch of actors a new system while also adding a bunch of people and changing the format. It's a shame though.

1/ A longtime Wired editor just wrote a mush-brained essay about how he totally missed the political rot of Silicon Valley (& still doesn't get it).

But in the late 1990s, a Wired journalist warned of a toxic ideology bubbling up from tech. Paulina Borsook has largely been erased. Let's change that

Personally, I believe we should talk about the payment corporation censorship in the same terms as Net Neutrality. Make it Payment Neutrality.

Payment providers should not be able to discriminate based on what the payment is for. Ever.

This is hilarious. These people have never run a real business. It is 100% a scam operated by skiled, dedicated grifters.

It is kinda funny seeing the worst most cruel most heartless people in the world shrieking about empathy.

The thing they say is a sin, the thing they denounce as satanic.

I don't want to start a thing so I'll just say that there will never be a good argument for privatizing USPS. That would be like privatizing libraries. The aim of services isn't to be run for profit, they are for serving the greater good, which USPS has been extremely successful at.

Mini Rant:

People say "manga" when they mean Shonen Jump

People say "comics" when they mean Marvel/DC

Those publishers are not monolithic, and are in fact unique in their industries. Not every manga artist is a Shonen Jump workhorse. Not ever comic suffers from retcons and reboots.

Not even most

Anyway...Dems need to break out of the impulse to see 200 white people protesting against Covid restrictions as "the voice of the people which we must heed" while seeing 10X as many people protesting racist police violence as "a niche special interest group that's out of step with real Americans."
