In 2025, the Captain Jason Dahl Scholarship awarded over $45,000 in total to our top applicants, representing winners from various collegiate aviation programs across the United States.

Last year, the scholarship reviewed a record-breaking 750+ applicants, and as a result, we have decided to increase the standards for the 2026 season.

Unfortunately at this time, high school students are NOT eligible.

In addition to the requirement to major in aviation or an equivalent field, applicants for the 2026 scholarship:

- Must have completed at least ONE FULL YEAR at an accredited 4-year college/university program located within the United States.
- Must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

We encourage applicants to carefully review the eligibility requirements, including the new requirements for 2026 listed below.

That’s what ours was too. Our total bill was $17k…. But they paid out the $5k very quickly. I didn’t ever think we’d even hit the $5k!

Lemonade was fantastic for momo last year but unfortunately we had to drop them because they wouldn’t increase the coverage amount. I haven’t had to use my new insurance (and hope to never have to), but I’d gladly go back to lemonade if they’d offer a higher insured amount. Hope squiggles is ok!!
