So yeah, welcome to the beginning of the end of raw human creativity, where the only thing that "differentiates" us from other species erodes.

And the scary thing is, even softwares cannot differentiate between AI and human writing. University students who write well are penalised, those who use it sometimes don't get penalised.

You can even write in ur mind, your dreams. I don't understand why we need LLMs for creative arts.

But why use it in something as boundless as the creative arts? It's never been bound by the physical laws of nature, so why are we limiting ourselves to the sterile "perfect" work created by LLMs. Pick up a pen, look outside the window, write down what you see and there you go, a scene.

AI to speed up diagnosis of rare illnesses, a partner in programming, to be the data bank to circumvent the limits of how much the human mind can store in a lifetime's of learning. YES.

Same goes for art.

So yes, I hope LLMs neglect art and writing. Cuz they shld be used for great things that can be made greater.
