I had question regarding if you prefer the protagonist you make to have a pre-defined background like the HoF has several backgrounds the player can choose where all of them have relationships established where the player can't decided if they had them or not. Or do you want a more blank slate?

Telltale games take the adventure style gameplay and imbue it with as much good writing and voice acting as possible. Using the format to deliver such interesting stories. Man I have missed them as well. Glad to see AdHoc did so well.

Which is very weird. Leliana comes off as young but she is far older than most of the companions.

Since magic exists in the world I am not to bothered by Leliana's devotion to the Maker. Because the Maker could literally just be real.

She really is. I honestly feel like so many people's love for her comes from her design and voice and not really her personality. If you somehow transpose her personality on a slightly less appealing looking and sounding character people would hate them.

And I love it for that!

This is one of the reasons I don't like Morrigan. She is rude to me. I don't want that.

But that is me thinking of Morrigan as a person and not someone to conquer. Because let's be honest dudebros think they can turn her good.

I wish this was referenced in the game. Varric just wanted to live in the now. To move past the hurt and torment in his live. Solas was stuck there. Sure his hurt and torment are different than Varric's but still. He is in the past. Instead of creating something new he tried creating something old.

Solas was describing himself. He was the man you lost everything. Who was alone on an island drinking. He knows the cost. But Varric challenges him. He knows what was lost but he is still here. Waking up every morning and living on. Even if it is a lonely one.

BUT I think they should have still tried to make time to explore that. Varric was the only other person who could combat Solas' ideas. The banter between him and Solas talking about how that old man stayed lonely even though he could have found others is profoundly deep.

I took it as there wasn't enough time to see if he was sorry. Solas left Rook in the prison and when they meet up its the end of the world. No time could be given that wouldn't have made it feel like the characters were ignoring the situation around them.

I completely agree with you. I love the vibe of Firefly and its so good it causes it to be one of my favourites but the logic of it is so lacking.

Okay but like. The reavers are cool though.

(I do get what you mean. Firefly is a great vibe but its sci-fi should be seen as surface level.)
