If you use this service, all of your redirections are saved on your PDS. The advantages of this are:

1. You own your data.
2. Your links are verifiable!

Obvious downside: redirects require javascript 🤮

Building on #ATProto is great because your users arrive with

1. An identity that their followers trust
2. A canonical, personal, public database
