A picture of my bike on a rural road during a snowstorm that left 25 centimetres of snow on the ground. At the time of the picture, taken about halfway through the 53 kilometres ride, half of that snow had fallen. The coffee was great tho.

No pogies, no studded tires, and no way I wasn't going to go for my coffee ride that day.

As long as corporate money is involved with "electing" leaders there will never be a true democracy. Politicians are bought, owned, and installed, by Capitalists. Governments are administrative arms of unfettered capitalism.

Trump slammed for demolishing White House before Canadians could burn it down again WASHINGTON D.C. - US President Donald Trump's planned White House ballroom, requiring the complete demolition of the historic East Wing, is being criticized by Canadians who will now never get to light the building on fire for a second time since the War of 1812.

I often carry a 12 kg backpack of photography gear on my road bike, not a cargo bike. 50 to 60 kilometres with it is not uncommon. It's very doable, even at 63 years old!

But I might consider a cargo bike when I get old.

I do however use public transit for distances of more than 100 kms roundtrip.

At least another 3 billion people should also be complaining, but they still don't realize they are in the grip of severe delusions, paranoia and emotional crises.

Hypershot Cygolite 350, hands down the best rear light I have ever used as a 45 year vehicular cyclist. I don't leave home without it. Not cheap, but worth every cent of the price. Put one on your bike and watch driver behaviour change when they give you 2 metres passing adjacent to you.

Hey people of BSky, I'm looking to write about this but need some useful examples. Can anyone think of any recent-ish examples in which a politician or candidate said something false or misleading in public that you think would fall under a rule like this?

Here's one from a few days ago if you can make use of it. Getty won't take it because it's slightly blurry from the drone bouncing around in the wind.

It's 12 MB as I'm uploading it here, Bluesky might butcher it though. Resolution is 5280 x 2970.

This morning my stepmom was almost the victim of #fraud. The weak link was that they called her, told her to hang up and call the number on her bank card, and when she did, that’s when they started trying to get access to all her stuff. Did they intercept the call? Are we doing that now?

A low resolution, low level aerial view, of highrise buildings on Lake Shore Blvd in Etobicoke (Toronto), in Humber Bay of Lake Ontario. It is a sunny autumn day and the variety of trees in the foreground of the buildings are displaying their seasonal splendor. A public active transportation zone for pedestrians and cyclists weaves between the buildings and the lake.

Here's a still frame extracted from a video clip of the same location in south Etobicoke (Toronto) along the shore of Lake Ontario. This view is facing west.

I had to shoot a construction jobsite promo in Etobicoke. Here's a 20 second clip as I wrapped up. The Humber Bay Arch Bridge is in the background. It's a lovely active transportation corridor with a visible #BikeTO multi use path, part of the Waterfront Trail.

This is a low resolution version.
