Recognition of the state of Palestine should not be used as a bargaining chip. It should have happened months ago.

We also need far greater action to stop the humanitarian disaster in Gaza, including fully ceasing arms sales and implementing sanctions against the Israeli cabinet.

I remember a time, in my very first recruitment consultant role, when the pressure really got to me and I ended up crying in front of my manager. I was so embarrassed! Thankfully she was very supportive & appreciated this was a sign I really cared about doing a good job. Am still grateful for that!

Last week, I was so proud to meet members of the British Armed Forces serving in Estonia. Their role in keeping the UK and our allies safe has never been more important.

On this Armed Forces Day I pay tribute to the dedication and professionalism of all who serve.

The government needs to publish any legal advice received around involvement in the conflict with Iran.

The last thing we need is for the UK to be dragged into another illegal war in the Middle East by the US.

Now Trump’s left the G7 early, the PM needs to act. He should build a coalition of the willing with the leaders who stayed – to back free trade and seize frozen Russian assets to help Ukraine.

Show the world that the UK can lead without asking Trump for permission.

I am increasingly disappointed that the concerns of the #LGBTQ+ community over what the Supreme Court judgement means for them are not yet being addressed. I have written to the Government asking them to make clear how trans and non binary rights will be protected.
