Current book. Current audiobook.

So far, the former is significantly better than the latter.

Yeah Farrell didn't help the situation. Kinghorn didn't have a good night and that reaction summed it all up for him.

That was Kinghorn no?

05.08.2025 08:29 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Correct. As i've said before, what he did was bare mimimum requirements for a pro player. If Sione had come on in the 2nd test and did what OF did, they certainly wouldnt be talking about all "his off the ball work. Its the unseen stuff that's underappreciated."

05.08.2025 08:25 β€” πŸ‘ 2    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Across two tests he touched the ball twice, missed 50% of his tackles. Made zero metres and didn't beat a player.

But hey he did some shouting. Something something, driving standards something something.

British and Irish Lions tour player ratings: Owen Farrell 'emphatically silenced nepotism claims' as we score every one of the 2025 backs πŸ’¬ "The latter shift earned him a place on the bench for the last two Tests, where he played a key role in the come-from-behind victory." #LionsTour2025

This is quite something. OF given an 8/10, Sione and Jones only a 7.

Most global Booker prize longlist in a decade features Kiran Desai and Tash Aw Chair of judges Roddy Doyle says the 13 β€˜gripping’ titles in contention for the Β£50,000 award all β€˜examine identity, individual or national’

And once again the Booker prize comes round and there's lots I've missed. I read flesh by David Salazy which I very much enjoyed.

How Owen Farrell’s cameo helped Lions over the line Andy Farrell took a risk by introducing his son off the bench but he played a telling role in a compelling finale to the second Test

And there's this. Imagine Sione or Huw came on, missed2-3 tackles, touched the ball once, didnt beat any defenders, and made no metres? They would be talking about the one ruck they cleared. Or what they do off the ball.

I think Jones is on a hiding to nothing. If the Lions win tomorrow it will be Aki/Ringrose for test 3. If they lose tomorrow, it will be Aki/Ringrose for test 3.
