My dad abhors any negative comments about immigrants. Asked him recently why he’s so strong on it: ‘Because we’re always happy to take the rich and clever ones. Which means it’s not about disliking immigrants. It’s about disliking the poor and vulnerable. And that’s a bad human instinct.’

Look. What I say to you is this.

When it comes to what they inherit, tax free, from me, they are entitled to their entitlements.

you do that google that you do

you do that google that you do

As we are now in a period where one party has, in the past two months, bought enough political ads on YouTube to have shown 1 to everyone in the country if they were evenly distributed, just a reminder that the Google Ads Transparency Centre is still a thing & the Political Ads tab tracks showings

We have enough money to feed, house and provide education & healthcare to all.

We don’t do it because the 1% oppose it.

The billionaire class benefits from keeping the rest of us in poverty.

They hoard the wealth and blame immigrants & marginalized people for economic hardship.

Tax the rich.

Jobseeker changes: 'Punished for economic crisis they didn't create' "We love these young people," the prime minister says, but a youth advocate says they've never met a young person who doesn't want to find work.

Appalling that our govt is bringing forward their attack on 18/19 yr olds' ability to claim welfare in their own right, even though youth unemployment is rising. Big question for Labour: will you unequivocally reverse this & other welfare cutbacks if returned to power next year? #nzpol #kikorangi

NZ’s rejection of emission targets fuels risk of international law breach The International Court has set out clear rules for addressing climate change – and the rights of states to take legal action against others for breaching them.

Does weakening domestic action on climate change risk NZ being found in breach of international law? YES
Could other states take legal action against NZ for failing to comply with its international obligations? YES

Look. What I say to you is this.

Raise a glass this Christmas to all those who we've:

Made jobless
Given pay cuts to
Booted from emergency housing
Denied medical care to
Stripped benefits from
Vilified and scapegoated
Driven offshore

For they have made me and my mates happier and richer

I'm worried that the egg beaters will exhaust the Sun. Or something.

Spotify has laid off thousands in recent years, while reportedly paying artists $0.003 per stream.

Spotify profits rose 28% in Q3. Its CEO is worth $9.8 billion. It's making money off ICE recruitment ads.

Don't you think it's time put a wrap on corporate greed and exploitation?

The Labour Party that got gay marriage into legislation, passed the BDMRR and banned conversion therapy should be able to clearly defend their own record and stand up for the ideological vandalism conducted against trans dignity and the LGBTQI community. If it can't, what the fuck are you doing.

Even after this coalition government cut new graduate nursing hours from 32 to 24 hours per week in a very strange effort to provide new grad nursing jobs, STILL less than 50% of new grad nurses in New Zealand have been offered jobs.

If anybody is wondering why tax takes are down, in NZ we’ve been doing the same - reducing the income of people that compulsorily pay 20-25% of their income in tax, and transferring it to those for whom paying tax is basically optional, if we’re lucky.

'Pitiful' decision on emissions targets will cost the country, former climate commissioner says Critics say the government has placed short-term economic growth ahead of the long-term consequences.

The Luxon government's decision to reject stronger climate targets from the Climate Change Commission will cost New Zealand households dearly in the years to come.
