Not allowed at the polling stations, sidewalk and surrounding property. But then we did anyone ever follow rules. I saw so many empty lots just filled with signs. Whether they got permission or not, shouldn't be allowed. Sure showed you the alignments though.

There was a pretty long early voting, so let's hope towns in Alberta get more then 30% out. Municipal elections are, frankly, the most impactful to your every day life.

I've never been a proponent of strategic voting before but the more I think about it... I guess I did? So when you are voting over the next three days in the #yql election think about how you can vote AGAINST as much as FOR.

Though I already voted I did have some thoughts both during and after. Normally I wouldn't have voted for a mayoral candidate as I didn't find any super appealing... but I did so I would put a vote AGAINST others. Same with 8 councillors. While I voted some FOR I voted a whole bunch to vote AGAINST

I'd argue it's not even a thought they have. They care about enrichment and power and thats about it.

These municipalities have their councils that care about the area, that know about the area and understand the area. They can concentrate on challenges they understand. With amalgamation that become just some hood suburb that gets ZERO care.
