Oh yeah it's not at all an opinion I would agree with - i meant their frustration with how it was handled moreso, but even if that frustration is somewhat valid stories like that are also important to the queer experience and their comment just seems so dismissive of that as well

I am not terribly moved by surprise twists in stories, but I am incredibly appreciative when I can 100% see something coming and the author completely nails it all the same.
